Dear Tracy Charter Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you had a wonderful summer and are as excited as we are to begin another year of learning, growth, and success.
Our teachers are looking forward to connecting with their students. On the first day of school, Monday, 8/3, teachers will reach out to students using their Tracy Charter student email accounts with important information about classes, schedules, expectations, and how to get started. Please make sure your student is checking their school email regularly that day and throughout the year.
School-Issued Devices and Materials
Students will have to come in-person for their first meeting with their teacher. Please make sure to bring your computer, so it can be updated with all the software updates, here at school. Also, we will be giving out a weekly planner and materials that will be used in advisory classes.
To ensure a consistent and secure learning environment, students should be completing their coursework using their school-issued laptop. Personal laptops, tablets, or other devices should not be used for schoolwork, as they may not support all required programs and can interfere with district security systems.
Math Assessments
To help ensure academic integrity and accurately measure student learning, all math tests will be proctored by the student's teacher. Teachers will communicate the procedures for scheduling and completing these assessments.
Student Success Center
Our Student Success Center will open on Monday, August 24, from 9 am - 2:30pm. The Success Center provides students with a supportive environment where they can work on assignments, receive assistance from academic interventionists, stay on track with their coursework. It is also an alternate place where students can come to hang out and do work with other students - sometimes there's a need for that human connection, especially in this setting.
We are committed to providing engaging learning experiences, meaningful support, and opportunities for every student to succeed. We encourage students to stay organized, communicate with their teachers, and reach out whenever they need assistance.
